I dig that, what's the inside like?

I'll have some updates soon, I'm in the process of getting a roof rack for it because I'm selling the Tacoma and building the cruiser now.

 

Stole this pic off of the website it’s got a bump in the middle but pretty open. Place for my jumper cables, straps, etc.

 

That is cool. I have 2 3xlocked 80's. This one i bought as pictured off of the TW classifieds from a local member @travistheone for $1700, it's rusty tho but it will take me anywhere i point it. These 80's are addictive but expensive to build compared to my 4runner & tacoma. I love the solid axle diff locked Yotas. I bought my stock one from the original owner with a bad hg, i'm tackling that job now. These rigs are easy to wrench on.

 

I like that spare tire mount.

 

I have two 80’s also. They are very addictive and I keep spending money on them. Both of mine are 3x locked, but with Harrops on the stock switch.

My 1994 only has about 105k miles. The 97 has 173k and it’s the one that’s the focus of my attention right now. It’s over at Tandem getting many things done some of which are in prep for a turbo. Not the WitsEnd one, a Tandem special with intercooler and modded ecu. 15 psi is the target. We’ll see if that can happen.

@ThomasMore66 I'm in the middle of preparing to refresh the cruiser a tad. It no longer has any requirement to meet emissions in WA state being 25 years old. So I had a new exhaust made and new higher flow cats put on. The engine has begun to leak at the front and rear mains. So I'm going to pull it to do those. But when I do what else is hard to reach that I should get after while it's out.

 

My 1997 is leaking too. You’re a better man than me. I sought professional help to fix all of that. In the shop now.

 

How did you find a 94 with only 105k miles? Nice find! I would love to find a low mileage triple locked 80 but they are getting hard to find & pricey. Both of mine are 200k+ but i bought'em cheap. My stock 95 was a 1 owner and its solid, not rusty like my lifted one. My lifted one i just use up at my cabin to explore and for runs into town.

Ditto, this is the only vehicle I've ever owned with a service history from Toyota that was complete up to 2014. Had to get this one running though after it had been sitting for 5 years in a garage

Turbo diesel 5 speed is super appealing. But I'm happy to say mine is in nicer condition. Wonder how wheeling with right hand drive would be.

What motor is that? An i6, factory turbo? I'm sure it would take some getting used to.

 

That should be the 1HD-T, 4.0L I6. They are a factory turbo engine but they're severely underpowered if you don't crank the boost, they actually run cooler with extra boost and a tune.

 

It looks like it would be a fun toy to have. But not for $20K.

Agreed, freshly imported those are typically 14-17k. This one has some useage and isn't a particularly clean example. Although I love the paint job haha

 

The paint job to them probably adds another $3k haha
