I’m a first gen guy with a 3rd gen Tacoma, I got a little chrome and some black ... whatever it came with.
I did add black Tyger running boards and mud flaps, but keeping the Deluxe silver steel wheels kinda matches my paint

I'm sure. Bougie (bourgeoisie) imho means fancy expensive luxurious pertaining to the capitalist wealthy class.

Yea I'm an older fella. I've done the black out thingy then I grew up. LOL, Actually I've always been a fan of chrome, so this 3rd gen will have more chrome than anything I've had in yrs. Guess I'm going old school and back to my roots.

If Toyota put Chrome on the TRD Pro these Nerds would be slinging chrome on their trucks like Bob Ross painting trees

I'm down for chrome. In the right places. I just haven't found a spot on my truck for it.

It's a matter of preference. I've been removing chrome from my cars since my first one in the early 00's. I don't feel it was as much of a trend back then. When I purchased my 2006 SR5 GEN 2 I hated the rear bumper and the chrome grill surround(It wasn't a wise option to buy a sport on my salary back then). Those were the first 2 things I removed. I've always liked black accessories, but at the end of the day I say go for what you like. These days it's actually a good time to be a fan of chrome. You can get take-off parts super cheap :D
