    Spicy Glazed Pecans

    • 1/2 cup Sugar
    • 1/2 ts Cayenne pepper
    • 3 tb Water
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 cups Pecan halves
    ~ Preheat oven to 350.

~Butter a heavy, large baking sheet.

~Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 minutes.

~Add pecans and stir until pecans are coated with mixture, about 1 minute.

~Transfer pecans to prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly.

~Bake until pecans are just beginning to brown, about 13 minutes.

~Transfer to cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and separate pecans with a fork.

    ~Cool completely.

    ~Store in an airtight container.

    Enjoy,:D
