Hey guys, just wondering what are some suggestions for all those spider webs in the bed of the truck. Unfortunately I don't have a garage so i park the truck outside. Everyday I come outside to check it and there's a new web up, usually all 4 corners of the bed, side mirrors, near license plate, and bumper caps. I'm even starting to see some where the bed connects to the truck in the middle. It's super annoying, I just want them to go away...

I park outside ever since I owned the truck. Never had spider. Maybe spread some diatemaceous around?

Although spiders are great for the environment. Scary on the truck. It’s typically your area. If you’re parking near brush and trees, they’re gonna get on your truck, and set up camp.

My only idea would be to spray the bed of the truck and certain areas that they might like. Obviously not getting any spray on the paint

Go to a garden center and ask for diatomaceous earth. It is the fossilized remains of tiny organisms. It is used as an organic pest repellant amongst other things.

I get them occasionally, typically on my side mirrors. They will only stay as long as there is food source for them... if you park in a well lit area (under a street lamp). Since all the rain we got, the bugs and spiders have had a prime breeding environment. Only effective way is to track down the little guy that's causing the issue.

I've got one making its home in my rear right bumper cap lol. Looks like it's catching a lot of food, too

Try yelling insults at it. Tell it how bad it is at being a spider and that it will never be as good as its dead brother.

That only makes them hide further into the truck. Try coming out 1/2 hour or so sooner and check the web... or catch a few flies or crickets and put it in the web and wait a few minutes.

    Still stock completely capable!
I’ll take a picture after work. Have a small one living in my drive side mirror. I use to break his web but he would keep making it so I let him stick around now. Might run away if I ever decide to clean my truck. But cement looks good dirty lol

Treat the area (ground) that you park your truck on with a good insecticide. Heck, spray the entire area.
