I’ve ran more that 5 sets on different Tacoma’s with 33” tires, from daily Houston traffic to Colorado, Utah & Big Bend Tx.

Never a single issue, but I always rotate the wheels myself and torque to spec. Never allow a impact gun use on wheel spacers.

Some places will not touch wheels with spacers, that’s a good thing in my book.

What's the widest spacer you've used?

My issue with spacers is most people use them to get clearance for the time being till they get new wheels. But spacers are like the price of 1 wheel most of the time. So I couldn't see myself spending that kinda money when I could just save up for the wheels with the offset I want

I’ve always liked using a different Toyota OEM wheel, so the spidertrax’s were perfect. PS, as long as you don’t destroy them later while removing them, someone will alway buy them from you :)

Just removed mine due to purchasing Ray10’s. I’m keeping them for a bit, just Incase.

    Install with provided red loctite.
    Torque to 90.
    Drive.
At 50 miles, set torque wrench to 80, if the nut moves, reinstall.

I don’t know what’s so complicated here or why this thread blew up. I drew a line across the spacer and nuts to confirm movement. None found.

There’s a reason they have you recheck at 10ft-lbs less than install torque. So that you don’t break the loctite.

Well, if you would have gotten here sooner, there wouldn’t have been an argument. I’d bet that your wisdom would have settled it quickly.
