i cant find where someone has fixed this issue, but what could i do to fix this problem. i recently installed a 1.5" strut spacer and i have rancho quick lifts 1-2.5 inch struts. it was rubbing the driver side spring at first but i changed the upper ball joint and it just hits it when i hit a bump. has anyone heard of a coil spring breaking from this or know of a way to fix this?

I just turned the spring until there was enough gap between the next one up. When I installed my Bilstein 5100's and Eibach coils the springs were hitting the spindle too. So I took them back off and rotated them till I had enough room
