Hey looking to get a maxtrac spindle lift. Im deciding whether to keep my shocks and add a small block with the spindles or just get new shocks. My truck has stock bilstein shocks. Is it worth the extra money to get the new extended shocks or should i just go with the blocks? It cost about 150 more :( but if absolutely neccessary... And yes I do have a prerunner.

I would go with an add a leaf or new rear leaf springs. before installing new shocks. depending on how much rear lift you are doing you may or may not need shocks. Bilstein 5100 are a great option. If your shocks are worn you would be better off replacing.
