I have read a lot on here lately and I really haven't found aan answer to the question can you use the stock shocks with the 4" spindles and will the rear shocks be long enough or should they be replaced. Also how will it look with stock 265-65-17 tires.

As far as I can tell on the Spindles you can use your front stock coilovers. Some guys on here up grade to the bilstiens and set them at .0 or .85 and like the look and love the ride I'm installing my Spindles tomorow and I have ICONS that I will set at .5-1 inch....As far as the rear go's with the add a leaf yes new shock's are a must... Other pepole will chime in on this and if I'm wrong about the front they will let us know.. Look around for the show off your spindle thread lot's of pic's of diferent set up's and yes in my opion 265's will look small with that much lift....http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/131402-show-off-your-spindle-lifts.html

Yes you can. I upgraded to the 5100's but it wasn't necessary. You don't have to do anything to the rear. You will have a slight "bro" lean though.

I know I should upgrade the shocks but I can only afford one or the other so I would like to go with the spindles and bigger tires. then save for the shocks. maybe I will buy an billes and then save for the spindles. Thanks guys.
