the offset camber helps cornering/turning at high speeds. And the effects of setting camber like that are the uneven wearing.

No. That was for me actually. I posted a joke and did not realize someone (you) is interested in swap. Sorry.

Oh! I misread. I thought you said "im good with 4x4" meaning your good at using 4x4. Thats why I cracked the joke about you. I know people wouldnt swap 4x4 for 2wd. thats why I asked. Just being funny.

Next mod for you. Rear ARB locker! :D

Can you run a coilover setup and a spindle kit with new UCA's? Just set the coilover sat a lower height to help with ride quality?

Yeah I saw the date after I posted and thought to myself I'm probably not gonna get an answer. But thank you! Is it redundant to run them together?

Some people like to use that setup to avoid having to preload the coils to achieve lift. It's a nicer ride and you can play with coil lengths to further improve ride quality. It's a great setup IMO for the 2WD truck.

Good to know. Thanks for the help! I had a DB lift on my old Silverado and I'll never go back to it. I definitely like the option to adjust for ride quality and if I ever get rid of it I can always remove it for the next one.

Spindles with UCAs and coilovers set at 0 best overall ride quality and handling for 2wd IMO. 6 yrs later. Haaa.

Now a few months later haha....is this set up still working nicely for you? and how did you go about lifting the rear? I have the adjustable Billies upfront and 1.5" icon AAL in the rear but I hate that I have to preload the springs to get the 2.5 inches of lift up front aaaaand I still want a higher lift. Thinking about going with this set up you mentioned up front. Just deciding on how to level the rear now....Not sure if I can still use my AALs with possibly a block? Or if this will affect ride quality so I'm interested in what route you went!

Haha. This is a dead thread. Hi Jessica, everyone has there own interpretation of level. My set up in the front is icon tube UCAs, icon ET non resi coilovers ( set at 0. I did do 3 turns to driver side to get rid of lean). maxtrac spindles, and super bumps. Rear consists of icon 2.0 vs shocks with icon 1.5 leaf pack and 1' solid billet icon block, u bolt flip kit and super bumps. It's rides very smooth with option to go higher. But like you prob know, the more preload the stiffer the ride. With 1/4 tank it's 1/8 inch higher in the front. Almost level. But I have weight.
    Hope that helps.

yeah I noticed it was pretty old so I appreciate you replying still! I love your set-up! Looks awesome!! That's basically how I was thinking of setting mine up as well so it's nice to see an example of what the outcome might be. Although I may set my billies to an inch of lift up front for a total of 4.5" of lift which means I would need more lift in the back but I haven't completely decided yet. Thank you again for replying to such an old post
