Spindle question?

    Engine freshly rebuilt due to blown head gasket, built my own CAI, EGR delete from LCEngineering, Billstein 5125's in the back with GM leafs, I can't stand paying for something that I can make in my garage so I built my own spacers for the front and tweaked them for 3" of lift.
    Is it possible to remove cv axles and still be able to run same spindles just minus the cv's?5:confused:

    ADD systems need at least the outer joint/stub/35mm nut in place to keep things from falling apart.

    Man hubs can be run without but the hole should be closed up with something.

    In both cases the giant hole in the diff will need to be addressed with an empty tulip hub or something.

    With all this being said, my main concern is that I do not want to ruin my cv's due to insane angles, even though I do not use my 4wd very often. I know that with my manual hubs my cv's do not spin unless engaged, but my suspension travel has to be beating the hell out of them. Does the diff drop actually help with the cv angles, I have read that it does but a lot of people saying it doesn't help enough to hassle with it.

    The diff drop does certainly help with the angles...its cheap too!

    Why not just do the boot slide mod or get some high angle boots? Unless your truck is lifted crazy high, the cv itself will be fine.
