Spindles or coilover lift

I thought j had my mind set. I was going to go with the camburg spindles with stock shocks for now instead of the toytec 3" coilover lift. I have a prerunner now and was wondering what would be better. I need a smooth ride and still be able to ride on the road and speed bumps along with driving to Tahoe. Any suggestion? I didn't know you had to take the sway bar out so I don't know how good or bad that is.

 

I went total chaos spindles but only 1/2" less of lift and also 5100s at 2.5 and it's a little stiff. But not horrible. With just spindles it should ride like it did out of the factory. Spindles only drop the hub down and maintain factory suspension if wanted. If you want better ride than factory and a little lift I'd look at coilover lifts or even some icons for the best ride

 

The Camburg spindles can be ordered with provisions for the factory sway bar

 

Only difference in sway bar and no sway bar is more articulation in front suspension.

yea would be a nice ride just expensive all at once, you can also run the 5100's like what im doing for now

 

x2, spindles are just plain badass i love mine
get spindles, and some nice coilovers and take all the preload off of them and the ride will be amazing and you will still be lifted 4"

 

yea had mine on for about a week and they are amazing couldnt imagine going back to stock

 

yup especially since i recently took off all the preload on my coilover it is so nice, truck looks good btw

What do you guys recommend to loft the rear? I was thinking spindles with 1.25 5100's for the front

 

haha thanks, im not familiar with the 5100s but just put them on the lowest setting, you'll really enjoy it

 

all pro leaf packs
they make a standard pack which provides 3" of lift
and expo (heavy duty) which gives 4" and then just get some longer shocks and your set
