I've had my spintechs since about 2006 on my other truck. Love them.

Had mine for the last 4 years, love it. Bought the TRD catback and hated the muffler. My bro ran one on his Ranger and a full catback on his GTO. They both sound awesome. Spintech is popular on dezertrangers

Does anyone have a clip of the sound inside the cab while driving? Really leaning towards a spintech

Hey Tacoma Off Course, I just picked up the same muffler as you have, had you had any engine issues with having it on?

This is on my shopping list now. I've wanted to change my exhaust for a while but haven't found anything I really like until now.

Why didn't you get stainless steel if you live in a state that uses salt on the roads?

I've been wanting a different exhaust for a long time but haven't found anything that I like until now. I had a Magnaflow on my last 2nd gen but it was too tame. Thanks for posting the video. I ordered one today.

I had a 6000 series on my v8 dakota. It wasn't loud and had zero drone, but i ended up cutting it off as i didn't like the mellow tone.

Thanks for the write up! I was researching exhausts on YouTube and I came across yours there. Then I searched it and POOF, I ended up here! Thanks for making a real exhaust video where I can actually hear it instead of having the camera 5" away from the pipe. Just ordered mine and can't wait to get it in and install it! Thanks again!

I know this is old, but do you seriously not have much in cab drone? I've got a flowmaster 40 series and my wife hates how much drone it has at highway speeds, and we have a long road trip coming soon and I keep hearing the spintech's have very little in cab drone

At highway speeds it is minimal imho but my tires don't help the matter lol. However, at lower around town speeds the drone can be a little loud. I tried to get in cab audio but it is difficult to tell what the drone is truly like.

I loved the sound, but after a 1-2 hour drive the drone combined with the tire drone got to me. Couldnt even have a conversation without practically yelling. Went back to stock. But im still torn on putting it back on

My tires don't help a great deal either, but I don't think they're the worst part. Audio recordings seriously don't do justice to what things actually sound like. If only you could run trial periods on exhaust. haha @TXAggieTRD You're saying the exhaust was pretty bad for long drives at highway speed?

If i was by myself I didnt mind it, it was pretty annoying when I tried to talk to anyone else in the cab. Had to have the radio up high too. But overall yeah It was pretty bad for long drives at highway speeds

Hm, maybe I'll lean toward the AT 2525XL then. I'm hearing a lot of good things about that including that it has very little drone.
