Just wanted to chime in - I have put well over 10k on these through salt/sand/snow/mud/city grime/protestors and they have held up mint! The engine bay is the biggest difference - I still get some crap in from the front part of the engine bay where my bumper used to cover but not with the pelfreybilt but it's a HUGE difference.

@cnote4l I'll be sending you those pictures we talked about before for the front end of the lower engine bay cover I was mentioning via PM before the holidays. Been so slammed with work it dropped my mind.

    @cnote4l,

any word on the wheel well liner for those who cut their fender flares (for +35" tires) or move onto fiberglass fenders?

I'm about to cut my fender flares, and I need good material to replace the OEM wheel well liner.

    When did you ask?

EDIT: I see that you asked a few days ago. I actually asked about these back in April 2017...and was just asking Cody for an update. But thanks.

Appreciate the testimony!! Keep me in tune with the lower bumper cut I'm ready when you are bossman

Not ready for production ATM but the upgraded wheel liner is in the works to replace OEMs to allow for larger wheel clearance without having to cut. Feb. 2018 was my projection made last Nov. 2017. In the meantime, breaking my leg in Dec. pushed back the timeline for wheel liners 3 mo.

1 obstacle is when the fenders get cut back to fit bigger tires, the section of the fender that gets chopped is all the pre-existing mounting tabs ..

    Appreciate the update, Cody!!!

Totally understandable with the injury and push in timeline.

Just glad to hear that you’re doing better and haven’t forgotten about the wheel well liner.

To give you an idea, below is a photo of what I recently did. I went ahead and cut my fenders to make room for 35’s. And this is what I left (tabs) for future liners.

I got the idea from a couple of other TW members (bullaculla and squint0241).

Nice!! Looks great man those tabs are perfect and very clean cut. So are the tabs in the same spot as it was when stock just now an inch or 2 further out?

Correct. I cut 2.5” of the fender and left tabs for future wheel well liners.

Take care of the guards and let the guards take care of you. Restore/ Renew/ Protect with vinyl guard spray.

All SETs are proudly pre treated as a part of the production process

Nice product! Would buy but I'm in Southern California so I even ripped out the stock things to aid with cooling instead

Our engine guards won't affect the engine temp bossman. The splash guards are designed with a min 1/2" slack in em to allow for better engine ventilation plus covers the bay from the SoCal sand ... hmu
