Alright so it seems like the consensus is Rad rubber doesn't last, geartech is 2-3 years depending on care. No comments on ARK yet.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I made some out of the tub underlayment material at home Depot. Good so far, add an extra half inch to the total height to avoid body mount flex/stretch ripping them

I used roofing rubber membrane. This was back in 2018 I think. Nice and thick and still remains flexible and no signs of deterioration.

So I pulled the trigger on geartechs. Overall they feel very solid, the upgraded clips hold well. My only grip? Why not extend the passenger front out more like on the drives side? Seems like a missed opportunity for extra protection of the AC components.

The drivers side goes all the way to the front, why not passenger?

yes I did, and spoke with the owner. that's been several months ago. He said a replacement set would be shipped out as soon as he had everything back in stock. I'm starting to wonder if he's forgotten about me.

Has anyone use roofing felt paper? I have one of those 30lb rolls collecting dust. Maybe I can put it to use.

Made of 1/8 inch rubber, with a bit of flex and shine, fit and look great. They match the original holes, come with new clips, and the passenger side is one piece. It’s a nice upgrade.

OME lift. ARB bumper. Trans cooler, pillar pods, Alpine stereo, backup cam, LED headlights, Fog lights. Window tint.
Looking at replacing mine after I replaced a bunch of the front end. Thinking Yoda liners. One concern is making the driver side removable for oil changes. Anyone have luck with a removable retainer?

I had Yotaliners on a 2nd gen and they were tearing after a little over a year. Not daily driven either. Put them on my 1st gen too, we'll see how long they last. When they start to tear the plan is to trace them onto a fiber reinforced material more like the factory ones. I was comparing the two materials and the polyester reinforced stuff should be far better than plain rubber.

I have the ARK splash gaurds on my '04. They have worked really well for me on keeping dirt out and keeping my inner fender are clean.

I replaced my 2001 OEM with Yota Liners from PMG Resources on Amazon in Aug 2024. Gets driven about once a week. The material is tearing/cracking and some of the holes are pulling out. So six months in and not looking good. I made contact with seller and waiting for them to "find" my order?

Mine are the same. Installed last summer, the truck has only been driven maybe 5k miles since. They're cracking and the some holes are tearing out. I'm going to use these to make a pattern with even more coverage and make them out of fiber reinforced material like the factory ones.

PMG gave me a full refund with no question asked. Has someone found a fiber reinforced polyester material?

Tried the YotaLiners, self destructed in less than a year. Truck gets driven maybe 500 miles a year.

Yeah mine have started falling apart after a year or so, I’ll probably trace them on some thicker more durable rubber.
