Splice into speaker wire-Bad or Good

    Not enough
    Installing new amp. My speaker wires (aftermarket) are to short. They are good size....

    Any problems just splicing a new piece in and Soldering it?????

    just tape it up good and it will be fine

    Ok, I have solder kit out already so, should just be over kill then..

    Now, New amp says 4awg for Grn....all I have is 8awg.

    CAN I run the 2 grns 8awg together to make this????

    8 gauge should be ok
    but if you wanna be safe go get some 4 gauge
    i wouldnt run 2 grns

    BFG AT's, Weathertechs, Hoppy's brake controller.
    Dual #8's will sufficient if it spec's 1 -#4....
