with the sPOD unit do I have to have the ground wire connected to it for the switch to work?
Or can I just put the power wire an ground it somewhere else?

    Thanks

Well I guess my actual question is I'm going to put in bed lights and was just going to ground it near the rear of the truck instead of running power an ground from rear to front.

An before I do that I wanted to make sure it would work with just the power wire connected to a source
