Hey Adam, I think what you have is what I am looking to do. I want a separate battery for all the accessories so the Tacoma doesn't even know they are there. I see your 'multi-stage battery isolater/charger for the aux battery', can you tell me who makes that? Where do you have your aux battery installed on the vehicle? Thanks for sharing!

Hi there. The battery charger I use is a REDARC BCDC 1225D, and the aux battery (ReLion Lithium 75Ah) is placed under the hood in the back left area.

Thanks Adam! One last question - is your aux battery mounted in a commercially available battery tray, or did you fab that up?

The aux battery tray (and REDARC tray) is made by MOLE Overland Equipment. They're actually original prototypes. https://www.moleoverland.com

I finally got around to installing sPOD's "Low Side High Side" yesterday, and it’s a pretty slick little add-on. Basically, I’m now able to trigger the individual accessories hooked up to the sPOD via another source. For example, I have it configured so when my high-beams are on, my lightbar and hood lights are also on. (And turns off as I turn off the high-beams.) My rear bumper lights are triggered via my reverse lights.

I have no experience with it but supposedly the new alpine halo head unit (F309 I think) can control various switching options.

One of the cleanest setups I've seen. Definitely goals for my truck, as I also have a DCLB. Sent a you a PM.

thanks for the idea on the angled mounting plate!

i've been brainstorming on how i'm going to fit 5-6 breakers into the space by the brake reservoir, and an angled mount might just allow me to squeeze them in!
