    I have all the same questions that have been posted in this thread.
    I don't believe Rey is Luke's or any Jedi's daughter. Jedi do not get romantically involved, it is part of their doctrine as explained by Aniken to Padme in episode II. Aniken never made it to Jedi level, he was an apprentice when he wed in secret which continued his path to the dark side.
    IMO I think Rey is paternal twin of Ren. The plot will be Leia, unconscience, gave birth to twins unknowingly.
    Han was away during the birth so of course he is also oblivious of his daughter. It will play out similarly to The Luke and Leia saga.
    Ren does appear to be a weak Sith. He certainly had his hands full fighting Fin, Ren beat Fin but not before Fin got a few sabre strikes to the torso on Ren. Fin has had no formal sabre training as an apprentice Jedi/Sith would.

    Anakin did make it to be a Jedi knight

    Also most the Jedi doctrine is pretty much out the window. Luke is the only one left and he didn't have all the info. Also, by the old legends stuff (eu) the not marrying thing was more recent. Back in the day Jedi (BBY) could marry and after ROTJ in the EU, Jedi could marry again

    Could Mace Windu be Fins Father? In ep. 1 @ end of movie, Mace Windu said before he died, "you will never have my family".

    My 10 year old son has me convinced! I know there are other stories about Lando as Fins father-- but Mace Windu could actually be his father. Think about it!

    Timeline doesn't work. Finn would be almost 50 years old.

    Ep3 -> ep4 is 19 yrs. then ep6 -> ep7 is roughly 30 years

    Grandson? Some speculation that Rey could be Obi Wons granddaughter. That could work. Rey has British accent just like both Oni Won characters. She was also cool, level headed under pressure, similar to Obi Won.

    Finn used a light saber well-- but a little reluctant. How would he have known? Mace Windu...

    I think he did. When he went back to Yoda he told him he didn't need any more training and was done. He didn't kill Vader or the emperor either which was what the emperor kept saying was the final thing he needed to do to turn to the dark side

    I like them but not nearly as much as the originals. They do have some very badass parts though.

    Like Qui Gon and Obi vs Darth Maul in episode 1. And Obi vs Anakin in III

    I agree, there's some really dumb things like the Anakin and padme shit in the 2nd one but then you got that badass clone battle and Jango Fett for a little. The 3rd one was the best out of the prequels

    I think she more felt her son going to the dark side than Han dying. However, I imagine it was in multiple debriefs on their way back to the planet through comms. It might have been too hard to actually say out loud.

    watching them the past week with the wife(finished ep 2 tonight. She said it is her least favorite so far. I agree) I remember when Obiwan said the "there is another" line to Yoda that I thought he meant Rey even though at the time of that movie ep7-9 probably weren't even thought of. Clever reframing of that scene if it does end up being Rey Kenobi...

    Makes some valid points. Not to mention JJ is the king of misdirection! I would be fine with that because it wouldn't continue taking ideas (i.e. everyone is related) from the other 6.
