    Can I just say, the fuckin 10 minute stare-a-thon at the end seemed a little overacted, especially on Mark Hamills part. We get it, shits about to go down, but my god, say something or end the movie already. My brain was already playing the ending music about 10 seconds in to them staring at each other because I knew it was over.

    I loved the little comedy bits in the movie with Finn. Also, when Kylo freaks the fuck out and the 2 storm troopers just turn around and walk the other way lol

    Kylo breaking shit, reminds me of a guy I use to work with. When he would get pissed you just calmly walked the other way, in a hurry.

    True. They definitely gave him more personality than R2 had in the first trilogy. The second trilogy R2 apparently had a bunch of upgrades that he lost before meeting up with Luke :rofl: but he had more personality back then as well. I think the funniest part for me that made me chuckle was when Kylo had Po(sp?) On his knees and was just sitting there and Po was like "ok what now, do you talk first, doI talk first, how do you want to do this" it was just so unexpected, I feel like hes sort of the replacement swashbuckler Han Solo with the attitude and mouth lol.

    Excellent movie. It's just upsetting how Han Solo was killed. I don't think it matters at this point what Kylo Ren does, he will never be able to redeem himself like Darth Vader did.

    I think hes gonna come back to the light side. Vader killed like...all the Jedi and then was redeemed. I'm just curious how theygot Vaders helmet lol, you'd think they would have made sure everything burnt in the pyre and didnt let stuff just melt a little lol

    He may come back to the light side. Regardless, Rey slashed up his face pretty good so he should end up wearing the mask at all times at this point, maybe. I thought the movie had plenty of comedy in it too. Definitely a plus and unlike episodes 1-3 this movie looked scenically beautiful because apparently they filmed at actual locations, not mostly green screen like the prequals.

    I popped in episode 2 today and it really made me cringe. I'm so glad 7 is much better than 1-3

    I wish Chewie would had done more damage to Kylo. After killing his own dad and one of the most likabpe characters in the Star Wars universe Kylo Ren instantly has become like the most hated character ever.

    That being said though, Harrison Ford lobbied extra hard to have Han Solo killed off in Return of the Jedi, and since they didn't let him have that, you know he did even more for this episode. His reasoning was because he was a smuggler and a scoundrel and all for himself. He said that being killed off by making an ultimate sacrafice for the greater good would be a great way to die for him.

    Just saw it last night. A great film.
    Remember the scenes from before when she was fighting off the droid thieves? She was a bad ass without using the force. Put a lightsaber in her had with a little bit of force knowledge and blam! :laser:
    @tcBob Lightsaber emoji? :D pleeeeeease.

    In high school, I took a trip to Spain and we went to this place from Episode 2:

    [IMG]

    It was awesome

    I saw it opening night, too, but the theater had it playing in like 10 theaters at once, so there were like 15 people in our theater, so it was quieter than it should have been. I was the only one who got loud a few times. When Han died, I literally said, "what the fuck!?" aloud lol. When Han and Chewie made their first appearance, I went "heeeeey!" and I gave my buddy a few "that was badass" high fives throughout the film

    I plan on going to see it in 3d eventually, but the wife isn't gonna go b/c, and I quote, "Star Wars is for fucking nerds"

    The one I saw last night was in 3D. Was cool but I feel like it didn't really need to be 3D at all.
    When I go again I will look for a place not doing the 3D version.
