    Last night I added to the rear shock mount to give it more strength.

    Blew a bead - then realized I took the QuickStart out of the truck so I can’t just reseat it with ether...fuck.

    Ended up getting it seated. Aired it up then back down. Kept goin since I had come down some shit I couldn’t go up easily.

    This is why I bring 3 snatchblocks. Had to use two to save me own ass. Pulled the rear end over and out of this rut I was headed toward. Going into it would have been real gay


    And somehow made it out.

    Added a bracket to the shock mount for some style points.

    Buttoned up the 14 bolt shave, and hit the covers with a spritz to keep them from rusting. Anytime now I can get some measurements from the Toyota axle for pinion angle, width of the spring perches, then I can tack them up

    At the very least, go after Eastern Jeep Safari. My family and I were out there last year and you basically had the trail to yourself. Made for an awesome time! Wish I could join you, but the Inchworm crawler I'm putting in my truck basically ate up my Moab funds for this year. :(

    I hadn’t planned on buying one at this point, but the price was right on this unit and it has really low mileage. So it was hard to pass up.
