I can’t believe these are real! I saw a couple of them on 23 sports and thought it was just part of some dealership “build” where they just threw on some aftermarket parts. I wonder why they’re offering it on the last year of the 3rd gens. I think they’re pretty cool. Definitely some retro Marty mcfly vibes.

    Nice TRD Sport!

I moved some 30yr old furniture yesterday (Headboard/frame, and 2 dressers) from storage to Habitat for Humanity and I'm not sure that bar would have been helpful or a hindrance.

What do you think about it?

I haven’t seen it in person yet but I want a bed cover and it probably won’t work with that. So, whether I like it or not, it’s coming off. I need to be able to throw some golf clubs/luggage in the bed and not worry about rain etc.

Are you…are you okay dude? Do you need a chair, maybe a cold compress, maybe some warm milk?

It's like a half-assed headache rack which is also supposed to protect the rear window.

that's a different design i haven't seen before. but not my cup of tea. it looks like someone gave the adhd kid a keg of coffee and work on the blueprint with a ruler and a marker.

Removed some stuff, added some stuff.
Fun fact caffeine and other stimulants have the opposite effects on people with adhd. Hence why college students beg their adhd friends for their meds for parties.

Yup, Toyota offers it now on their website as an add-on.

The side profile is perfect. I love the dual tubular front bars with a rear angled bar.

But the angled and rear view shows cost cutting. Running the bars into a singular bent steel cover, and the oddball angles on the rear bar pull the curtain way too far back...

Calm down man. This isn't the "Roast my 3rd Gen Tacoma" thread. Let the OP do whatever he wants to his truck. He's paying for it, not you.

If the rear bars had the same profile as the fronts, it might look ok. But appears to be a lame accessory like the predator steps. I do like the 80s roll bars with KC lights up on top and this Toyota accessory just looks lame.

    Wow!

That close-up looks a bit "busy" as opposed to a subtle look.

I'd rather have the OEM Predator side steps.

I'm normally not that critical about add-ons but that's not OEM looking {to me}.
