Sport Hood and Grille

None Taken, now what do think my chances are of finding a silver mica rear bumper for free?

I will post them as soon as I get them installed. I am picking the parts up Friday the shop is even nice enough to be taking them off for me. I may try to get them installed Saturday if all goes well however it is snowing and 10 degrees right now so it may have to wait a bit.

 

garage? "borrow" (I mean hijack) the shop for a lil while?

 

That is a distinct possibility, I will have to get a friend to help with to hood install, I would hate to drop it and damage to hood or my fenders. I doubt the shop would want to donate anymore to me right now

 

Picked up the hood and grille tonight, no time to install tonight got real work to do unfortunately. Should get them installed tomorrow or Saturday cant do it Friday as it is the wife's birthday. FYI for anyone out there looking the I found another silver sport grille that has tab damage, the lower centering tab is missing and the right upper tab is broken. The grille itself is in good shape though, possible canidate for a satoshi??? Will post pics when the hood and grille are installed.

I can take pics of the hood and grille but they arent installed yet and I am sure you have seen them before. I am now thinking of leaving the chrome grille on for now and trying a Satoshi with the color key sport grille. I figure it is easier to do it now so I am not in a hurry since I have a good grille in the truck now.

 

Of course I've seen them before! Just not on a Rugged Trail....

 

Well I finally got the sport hood installed on my truck. I like the look though it is different with the chrome grille still being on. I am currently working on the Satoshi mod on my sport grille so I should be able to swap out grille soon. I took one pic of the truck today at work. I think it looks good but it will look better with the grille.

HAHAHAHA No Joke I am so lucky especially with the number of people looking for this trade and I get what I need and get to keep my original stuff too. I will take better photos later but I figured I would post at least one today.

Thanks Man, I love the Rugged Trail too, I have only seen 2 other Silver Mica double cabs in the Columbus area, now mine is different with the sport hood. The only pain in the butt swapping the hood was the washer fluid elbow that snaps into the hood is a one use clip so I had to order one for the hood today at the dealership. Bad news 3 days till it gets here good news 64 cents for the part.

 

Cheapest follow up mod component ever. Can't beat that price!
