    Running the same tire.

While they aren't as good as a "real" snow tire, they are pretty grippy.

I find them better than the Duratracs I had on my '16 in snow.

There is no better than real snow tires in winter and summer tread in summer. I buy a 2nd set of used rims for all my vehicles... yes, this cost but, then you have the best tread in the correct season, the tires last for a long time and no more going to the tire shop twice a year to be remounted and balanced. Plus, you keep the summer rims looking like new !

We got 16 inches of snow here. No problems with my 19 sport and stock tires, Some people should just stay home when it snows.

My first Tacoma was non 4wd with dedicated tires and weight there was no issues with traction. Second and third Tacoma’s were 4wd just weight no issues even with all seasons on.

Driving for over 50 yrs in all kinds of vehicles with all types of tires. Drove 40 miles to work on backroads and major highways every workday. Moved snow with just about every kind of machine except an airplane. The snips at my driving skill ain't cuttin it.

I got my truck in Dec 2016 and ran OEM's for a while, then my KO2's. I have to say, I'm actually impressed with the truck's traction in the winter here in NH :notsure:

I don't think it's your driving skills as much as you communication skills. Keep your head up and use the search bar. Lots of info to avoid embarrassment

I'm right behind you at 58 yo but there is a huge difference between 50 and 58 so I know there is a big difference between 58 and 65.
I will stay with "The older I get the better I was" theory and say your driving skills have deteriorated. When I had my sport it drove just fine in the snow...

I had a Tundra also before my Tacoma, 2wd drive though and the last generation of full/mid size. It was heavier. Much better than a s-10 though, they slip around when it rains.

What tires are you running? My 2016 came with Firestone Destination's and they were good in slippery conditions for an all season tire. My 2020 came with Toyo Open Country and they are nowhere as good. Also check your tire pressure. Dealer gave me my 2020 with 40 psi all around when it should be 29 per the door placard. Wondered why traction was so bad until I dropped them down.

I had a 06 tundra before the tacoma. The tacoma is much better in the snow.Loved the 06 tundra, the 4.7,the quiet
rattle free interior, seriously loved that truck made me a Toyota fan.But my 16 tacoma has better ground clearance and less low end torque is an asset in slippery conditions. When i came home from work last night at 3:00 am we had over a foot of snow plus what the plows had pushed at the end of the driveway tacoma drove right thru it and down the whole driveway! 06 tundra would of been stopped at the top of driveway. The 3rd gen performance in the snow is impressive!

66 yrs here. Got 18" of snow last night. No problem getting out of my 300 foot driveway this morning. Wrangler AT's and 6 feet of railroad track (2x3') in the bed. Been riding NE snow all my life. From sports cars to Jeeps. If you can't drive in it, move.

I've a Jeep in my time along with Chevys and a Tundra but the absolute best vehicle Ever in the snow was my 76 Dodge Trailduster. Liked its gas but it went everywhere.

got Nokian winter tires, a lot better then stock in 2WD, but still spinning on packed, icy snow.....guess I'm too light in the back? (no cap). When in 4H it's like a tank

My 2019 Sport does great in the snow. About 4800 miles on it so far. The first thing I did was drive it from the dealer to Discount Tire and got a set of four Grabber AT/2's and never looked back.

In other news, I happen to have a set of brand new factory tires for sale (exactly 331 miles on them)... :)

I spend my winters on Donner Summit at 7,000ft el.. I have a 2018 SR5 DCSB w/4WD. I found a second set of SR5 rims and fitted them out with Blizzaks in December of 2018. Easily survived the winter of 2018/19 (652 inches of snow) and all winters since. Will change back to the OEM Firestone Destinations in April for spring and summer driving. We have a Honda Pilot with 2 sets of wheels and tires. On that vehicle we have Blizzaks that are in their 6th winter and going strong. The CHP also uses Blizzaks when patrolling the Sierras.
