I don't know about the other trim levels but the front seat backs make a popping or clicking sound that occurs when I'm getting in and adjusting myself. It's usually when I put some pressure against the seat back and then lelease the pressure. It definitely comes from within the seat back internals and not a ratcheting or recline mechanism.

It's like the sound a cheap vinyl 3-ring flimsy binder cover would make if you folded it back and forth on itself.

I'm gonna take it in but I thought if anybody else had this and could share some info I might be better able to explain it to service writer guy.

    Thanks.

So I dicked around with the lumbar knob and if I release the lumbar pressure the noise ceases. @Modesto Tacoma nailed it. Sucks because I like it where I had it, but I'm too annoyed to leave it there. I'll mention it to service advisor while it's in the shop next time. Maybe there'll be a TSB or some lower-level bulletin about it. Not holding my breath.

This kind of stuff is so lame... TMC has been making cars for how long now?
