I am in the same boat. I may spray my sport wheels all black and get KO2’s and put the white inside to try to black out my all black truck.

They come out great. You can find pics around the forum from others that have done similar.

Not the greatest photo, but I've since switched back to the stock Destination LE2 tires. I cover a lot of miles for work and noticed a deterioration in gas mileage (most likely due to the extra 15lbs per corner), along with a pretty harsh ride on the BFGs. Mine were stock size and E load rated, if you're able to get them in a lighter rating at that size it would probably help.
I originally bought them as I figured I would run them year round, as opposed to having a second set of tires for the winter. The harshness and gas mileage weren't worth it for me, plus I didn't find them to be particularly capable in the snow/ice either. I don't think theres any substitute for dedicated winter tires in the north. Hope my 2c helps. Stock ride-height by the way.

I’ll probably always stick with a street tire because I literally do nothing but street driving with my truck, but this really looks fantastic!! I’m actually tempted to do this

    Thanks!

This is the lift kit I used: And added these wheel spacers (2 sets, front and back):
    http://www.spidertrax.com/Toyota-Hub-Centric-Spacer?sc=2&category=9982

(above links for reference only, you may be able to find better prices elsewhere)

My tires are 285/75/17 and there was very minor rubbing in the front when in reverse at full turn so had to do a tiny, tiny bit of trimming. If you don't want to do any trimming, you may want to consider 285/70/17 - the width will be the same but the tires will be about an inch shorter (32.7" vs 33.8"), giving you 1/2" less lift from the tires. I recommend the bigger tire and trim a little if you have to.

    My stock tires were 265/65/17 and the KO2's are 285/85/17, 30.6" vs 33.8", a 3.2" taller tire.

By my math, the truck is now sitting about 3.5" higher than stock, 2" from the lift and 1.6" from the tires.

I didn't know anything about Toytec/Eibach before I started this project, but doing a lot of reading and talking to my friends that work in parts and service at the local Toyota dealership who have installed this setup before, and the price compared to other lift kits, I am very happy with the outcome and the quality of the parts. I am not a hard core off-roader, I did this mainly for looks - regardless, these shocks are much better quality than stock.

    Hope that helps.

Sorry, don't know anything about lifting the front with blocks. I used a lift kit that lifts with taller shocks in the front, not blocks.
