It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
    top 3 options:

1.69' Dime 2 door with LS1 swap, Ford 9 pumpkin with custom built irs, rest put into paint, suspension and safety(roll cage)
2.MKIII Supra with a cage, rest dumped into motor and tires and a spool.
    3. 72' Hilux with a blown 1UZ stuffed in it somehow, backhalfed onto IS300 subframe with a spool and torched up, cut up, grinded up to fit IS300 IFS somehow...rest dumped into suspension, tires, and gas

Of course..those are only $25k vehicles full of parts...I'd do every single labor thing myself.

I'm pretty sure I could build all 3 of those for $15k each..depends how wild I get with the 7MG..and how wild the LS1 gets built up..

    Maybe with a professional drivers
but with 2 average joe dudes..nope a stock Miata can't outrun a stock Xrunner.

unless my buddy sucks at driving:confused:

Aren't those getting seized left and right? I'd LOVE and R34. I've wanted one of those FOREVER. How hard is it to get one and get it legal?

Sadly....I'm going out on a limb here when I say that's probably well north of $25k. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Like, would write a check...

Oh, well kind of hard to compare that when your on public roads..not a closed course. Does make sense what you were saying now

but we did run half of Del Puerto Canyon road, and south side of Mines road(Santa Clara County side)
and he had trouble keeping up in the turns.
Look it up on Google Maps if you want

Then again that was like a year ago, and we had a 350Z with us, a dumped s14, a 71 dime, and my buddies prized 76 corolla..

What are you talking about? A shitty driver will make any car go slower than it's capable of whether it's a miata or an x runner.

I gotta agree here. I find it hard to believe that one of the world's most revered sports cars will get out handled by a 4000lb truck with a drop. I'm calling shenanigans.

Really have either of you ever driven an X-Runner?

Don't get me wrong, a Miata is a world wide pheonomom for many forms of racing and automotive culture

but 100hp in a course full of straightaways with mild corners with a "performance" oriented "sports truck" that has 240hp, with a frame so stiff it'll shake your noggin loose...the x runner ripped the NA a new asshole.

2200lbs or not..100hp will move it pretty quick but 240hp with INCREDIBLE torque will definetely travel faster through the course..1GR is a beastly motor in a Xrunner..pure torque..compared to driving it in a 4wd Taco or something

if 240hp can spin 275/40s on 9 wide wheels with ease...then there is definetely some torque there.
i just wish my fathass x runner was charged.

Now i understand if this was a closed course..and say a autocrosss...or a canyon section full of tight turns..then yes the Miata would have most likely pulled ahead as it wouldn't push through the corners as much..but in certain circumstances the x-runner can be a deadly vehicle..
and I hate x runners btw..so me saying they are good..is amazing

Want a car that will eat corvettes/mustangs/bmw's/STi? (love STi's though)

Ive had 4 Skylines. 3 Being GTR's. there no limit what you can do with these. theyre incredible. Fast as fuck, sound great, handle like a go-cart. and you can not beat the price of them.

here were a few of mine

haters gonna hate. if you dislike skylines, its probably because you met one on the track. that being said, after i sold my GTRs, i went to subaru. almost bought a few STi's. ended up settling on a 2007 WRX. with enough pep and good modificiations that il leave an STi in the dust, it does the job. Also bought a 2002 WRX because i really needed a car last year.(bought the 2002 in 2010, and the 2007 in 2011).

Dodge vehicles are heavy, they are good for a straight line. Also Mustangs don't handle to well with the solid rear axle
