Seems like something wrong here? These are all useful answers. Is this Bizzaro Tacoma World?

I had the choice between both and I liked the way the Sport rode better with the 4 leaf pack and the cleaner looks. I like the idea of the e-locker but in reality this truck won't make it off road for many many years and I use it for 70 miles per day for my commute.

Yes, I like the hood scoop (so many hate on it for some reason) and I like the turn signal mirrors (for functionality and style)...

My recommendation is to drive both and see which you like better in terms of style and ride comfort, they both have a distinct look IMO...

I'm just gonna let this one go since your signature is soooo cool.

My TRD Sport came with Dunlops as well...seems like every Toyota truck I've ever owned has...not the worst tires I've ever owned, but I'll be switching them out early none the less.

And the fact is that the majority of the reason I want/need/use 4x4 is for snow and winter weather...Sport will do just fine. (...even if the stock tires won't)

Same here -- I kinda like the scoop, but honestly I could take or leave it as I mentioned earlier. Unless you're into serious off-roading (which many are, and more power to you if that's the case!), then rear locker is something you'll probably never even use.

    Hell and yes!

I didn't want the scoop in the beginning but now I love it! The color keyed stuff is nicer too.

I have the Off road... I am had originally planned on replacing the chrome parts anyway. and being that it is a non functional hood scoop.. who cares... I would rather have a better off road truck than one that looks pretty stuck in a hole....

I must be really different because I love everything about my Sport Access Cab EXCEPT the idiotic, bug catching scoop! I put it up for trade hoping to get a just as clean, non-scoop, super white hood but I'm only getting offers from folks with 5 year old hoods with rock chips, scratches, etc., no thanks. It seems like there are a LOT of scoop lovers out there though.

You can get a 4x4 DCSB without the sport or off-road TRD package too. Just would have to order it from the stealership. Some days I wish I did that instead.

I have the sport, and traded w/ a guy local for his normal hood. Didn't like the scoop on the short bed (too "bulldog" looking - but I think it's find on the long bed)

Everyone misses the best truck to get for hard wheeling and the cheapest build.

SR5 with ARB's in front and rear. Right around the same price as the fancy OR and Sport once you add in the lockers.

OR's and Sports are both overpriced with useless options.

Even in a prerunner I like the locker. Could care less about a skewp. The chrome is nice cause it keeps me from having to touch up the paint. As for the looks of chrome it suxs. Comes down to off road preference and/or over looks and of course, price...

I liked the off-road options but did not like the chrome. So, I ordered a color matched grille and had it installed and Line-X'd the rear bumper. Lost the badges, except for the Tacoma and front emblem that got blacked out, and the mirrors being black were a plus. So - made it mine - gave it a name and love it!! Whatever your Taco -- make it yours!!

Enjoy your truck -- has turned into a very fun (and expensive) hobby!!!!
