Holy fuck what is with Washington people thinking they own inclement weather?!?!

I bet an awning is great in the rain. There. I said it.

 

I never claimed any ownership of inclemental weather, but when you get pissed on every damn time you camp, you either need a big tarp or hey, an awning. If I remember correctly, nearly every RV out there has an awning attached to the side.

 

Yes rvs totally have awnings, this is true.

Look scro. I don’t own an umbrella, I’m just not into it. Now I know you’re gonna be all like “yeah we’ll wait until you feel WASHINGTON rain” and I get it, I do. And yes, you never mentioned you owned inclement weather. This is just the third time this week I’ve had a Washingtonian explain how when you’re THERE, shit gets real.

 

Negative. I live in WA and have camped in the rain more times than I could ever count. There is no awning on the side of my truck, and amazingly I've survived. Shit gets wet here, it's part of the game. You think people without awnings don't go outside here during the fall/winter? Also, the only people who use umbrellas when it rains are tourists and transplants.

Well, we have another thing in common, I don’t own an umbrella either. The rain here is no different than anywhere else, just more of it nine months out of the year, which sucks.

So true. I grew up in Vancouver/Portland and you could always spot the ones who weren’t from there. Also, I can’t recall many campers using awnings in the northwest.

 

Price is always the bottom line,if you put $20,000 in extras on,you better be planning on keeping it,you will only get pennies on the dollar for any so called upgrades.
