Hey guys, so I did some searching and couldn't find an answer. I'm wondering if there is a way to play audio from spotify through the usb connection. I have the entune system in a 2017. I'm assuming its the format; does anyone know a workaround for this so I can stop using the bluetooth connection?

You absolutely can use the USB input, I do it everyday with Spotify. I’m using an iPhone. Select it as the source. Launch Spotify app and hit play. Works great and sounds better than over Bluetooth.

I'm gonna necro this rather than create a new thread. I have a Google Pixel and am trying to get audio over USB working as well on my 2021. Problem I'm having is USB source is grayed out on the infotainment screen. My phone has a few options in the notification bar for what type of connection I want to make, eg PTP, storage, master, slave, etc. but nothing I pick seems to stick anyways. Both Entune and the shitty Toyota App just prompt me to pair via bluetooth, nothing about USB. In past vehicles I was able to just set my audio output to USB and it would send everything through USB rather than the phone's speakers, but that was older Android on older phones, so the infotainment is not the only variable at play. I'm going to keep messing with it and will update with whatever I find but if anyone else has any pointers I'm all ears, thanks.
