There are several dealerships on the west coast that import them. Two dealerships in Seattle that I know of have these on the lots.

Living up to your locality, I see. The Seattle importers are just an example I happen to know of. Plus they ship anywhere in the US and have locations in multiple states.

My only point is (although we don’t see them very often) they are readily available to buy, and there’s a pretty decent chance you could even test drive one today depending on who has what in stock.

I test drove a couple this winter. Ultimately decided against it for a daily driver, because although it shares a good number of parts with US cars, there are some parts that must be purchased from Japan and would require an extended wait time in the event of a needed repair, or systems that are not easily supported in the US, e.g. the AC.

i see diesel 3rd gen imported 4runner and hilux sometimes for sale, around Boston classifieds


the ultimate import to me from my car days is the older nissan skyline models

 

The only thing unfortunate about this is the Chode Island license plate.

 

oh for sure. my backyard for 38 years. another beauty (horrid up here, dont let them make you think otherwise, if not for work and family, id be in TN or the south)

It’s crazy how much those have jumped in price.

 

I have friends in Pawtucket, Lincoln & Providence that I visit every few months or so.
Anyone who thinks Boston drivers are bad have never set foot in RI.
At least there's one redeeming quality - Olneyville New York System's hot weiners!

 

GOOD POINT. partially why i sold my harley (young daughter + coworker lost head last year + new england drivers)
