There are like zero Pros out there right now, perhaps Toyota will build more in the next quarter or toward the end of the final 2nd gen production run?? But there are none in California right now.

This blows because you know dealers are likely selling for sticker or more?

Depends what you want. I get bored with a slushbox sitting in traffic. Others can't stand a clutch in traffic.

I don't know anyone with a stick that can keep up with my slushbox offroad.

The best is when your on a narrow trail with near vertical inclines thats littered with slime covered slick rock and a guy with a stick is riding your ass and you come to a complete stop - then easily pull away from a complete stop and giggle... yea I'm a dick

The gear ratio difference seems to cause issues when offroading. Dam stick shift guys are always in a higher gear it seems. :notsure:

Silver is my least favorite color in any car; just looks like a rental car then.

No matter what color car/truck you have scratches are white. White scratches on white trucks = invisible
    White also hides dents better.

While also keeps engine bay and cab temps down by at least 10% during sunny seasons.

silver still looks clean even when it's dirty. :D

white not so much. black you can just forget it. it will always be dirty looking.

I always liked silver and black best, too. Then I saw Pyrite Mica.

Someday, you too will see the light. :D

is that the darker grey color? yeah i like that color too. :D

speedway blue is cool too but they don't make them that color on the newer trucks. now they use a navy blue which is ok as well.

i don't like the speedway blue with black fender flares though. if i was going with speedway blue i would get color matched flares. i don't think i've ever seen a speedway blue base model though.

I have seen a speedway blue base, DC. Terrible color in that config, and I love speedway on sports and XR's.

I also loved the straight red they had a few years back, but someone decided burgundy would look better.

The color of the truck in my original post is the gray-silver color. Like I said I normally like that color on any 2nd gen but the base model with black flares.

Not true, I spent many years in autobody. Factory primed panels are black. When yo scratch white deep enough, you hit the black primer.

    Think Yota uses grey :p

I'm not 100% but all the sections of my paint that have been rubbed/chipped/impacted away look grey :notsure:

You know what I mean though...

I know the feeling. I sold a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T, stick with big turbo and other goodies and a 98 Jeep TJ with 6" lift, 35" tires and other goodies for my current DCSB TRD Offroad. For me, it was a good compromise between the 2 extremes and I don't regret it. Yes, I miss aspects about both cars that I sold, but the Taco keeps me in that sweet spot.

I don't mind the 6-spd on the Taco, but it is night and day different over the 5-spd short shifter I had in my A4. That thing was a ton of fun to drive fast in the mountains....

I could see myself getting the supercharger kit at some point down the road, but it's not a priority. I don't feel like I'm underpowered, but it's always nice to have more. ;-)
