Spray on Bed Liner

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could give me some quick advice. I recently bought my first truck, 03 4x4 tacoma. The truck was previously painted tan and then painted white, with exception to the bed of the truck. The bed has texture just colored tan. I want to paint it black. Should i add "Rustoleum" or some type black liner? Or is there a cheaper alternative to just paint the bed? Only ask because the texture is there i just want to get the black color instead of the ugly gold / tan.
