If it's not a Bass Pro meet and greet, tray mountain, or charlies creek it's like those guys don't want to come play.

Us Florida guys have been up there a few times now and always throw an invite but no one ever shows. @BYJOSHCOOK always tries to make it but life happens and we get that. Hopefully he can make this one.

I still have a few things to get done first

 

I know i won't be able to get off for work so I never even look at all the meets.

And I havnt got my sliders welded on yet or bought any skids.

 

Hmmm I can really only afford on trip to windrock a year. I have to save all summer for the trip in sept. The atr is fun gets a little slow with 200 trucks though. Sounds like fun though. The trails are crazy fun. @stairgod

 

Too many damn FJs in that event. I am interested in this one.

Sob! I'm gonna have to start saving and getting shit together now. But ATR will probably be a no go if I do this trip.

 

Can't do this but ATR is a definite. Maybe go down early or stay later to not deal with so many peoples?

 

More than half won't do anything harder than overlanders.

 

It cracks me up with some of the shit people post about how hardcore they are and they run hardpack trails. This tends to be the case with a lot of people out west. The minute an opportunity to go to a badass place like Windrock comes up and they all magically have other committments.

 

Checkout any Overland group on Instagram you'll laugh yourself til you shit yourself.

 

Hey man dirt roads are difficult! I mean what if there's a bigger stone on the gravel rd? Gonna have to lock it up and climb it. Snorkel is required for some of the puddles on the rd. Haha I wheel harder and dd the truck. I believe overland is more about the journey from A-B that's cool and all but I'm more of a wheeler

 

Oh, I check it out often. Funny as hell.

 

I like it when they consider themselves a "team" and run a 7 mile trail that could be done in a minivan.

 

And the ones that post being spotted over a pebble and say they'll teach you!

 

Basically, 73.4% of the people on TW, FB, and IG.

 

I like parking lot wheeling.
