Just called and talked to Alice at AOP about the Jeep event being posted for the 21st. She said it’s a small club thing and won’t affect us at all.

Anyone ever been to Hale Mountain or Royal Blue? Just wondering if those places are any good.

Not too far from AOP either. I was thinking that if AOP becomes a shit show with the jeeps, maybe those that want could run over to Hale to scope it out.

Hale is a great spot to go. Lots of river crossings, some rocks to climb, and areas of mud holes if you’re into that. I would NOT recommend going after or during rain. The hill climb on the TN end to get out is also probably one of the steepest hills you will ever encounter. Ask @TacoAlaMode. I also have it mapped out if you would like it

It’s fun. It’s not too terribly difficult but there are a few paths I haven’t done personally.

It sounds like the park is only open for event weekends. Or Maybe my reading comprehension is bad today.

I wouldn’t recommend leaving anything unattended. Lots of methheads in the area and shit disappears FAST.
Also please don’t litter because the tree huggers in the area have been trying to close it for sometime.
But it is pretty close to AOP! And so is Bingham mountain. Y’all could hit all three in one weekend!
    Thanks

    Shit looks rugged as hell.

There may need to be a reserved weekend for Tacos only.
