So I do not drive me truck all that much due to my previous job but now I just picked up a new position and will be driving alot. I was on the verge of going postal due to my axle wrap but currently do not have the time to fix it and to top it off the last two days were 103 degrees out so I decided to try a quick fix as others have done in the part. You just put a two plates acting as a clamp about 1 3/4" in front of the axle, tighten up the bolts and you are good to go.

Problem solved no axle wrap. See how long this lasts. :D

These are TSB springs that are pretty much new but I tow a boat so they are shit already. I still have my original 3 leaf non tsb springs and will put them together with the TSB springs for a cheap 6 spring setup when I get the time and see how the axle wrap and sag is. Another member has done this before with good results. If not I will have to drop the $400 for a real set of springs since toyota has their head up their ass regarding leaf springs.

I digress back to the reason I posted this.

There are some pics floating around of others that have done this but I can take some if need be.

I made the clamps myself out of some 5/16" flat bar stock that was 1 1/2" wide. Cut them at 4 inches wide and drilled 3/8" holes for the bolts. Cost was nothing since I had all the crap laying around.

You can buy clamp kits typically on the shelf at pep boys or auto zone in the diy suspension section. I am sure quality is marginal at best.

I will post back on this in the future for an update after I tow the boat on sunday and see if the springs sag or get axle wrap back again.

After a few adjustments, I found this to help axle wrap greatly. I tow a boat regularly and I didn't see a difference in regards to sag, mine still sag but the axle wrap is still gone.
