I need to find a place that can take off my old stock springs and put it on my new Bilstein 5100s. Anyone got any ideas? It's scheduled to arrive this Tuesday. I have already installed my wheelers 3 leaf progressing aal to the rear so I'm riding ass up at the moment. I would like to get it done ASAP.

I will take the whole assembly off myself, I just need them to do the springs.

    Reserected from the dead.
You can buy your own spring compressor at HF or borrow a set from any of the big auto parts stores.

Do it yourself..... with spring compressor that you can 'borrow' from like Autozone or something

OR - call around to your local garage's - ask if they have a wall mounted spring compressor and/or if they can compress springs to install new struts either on or off the truck.

Many many years ago...Midas used to do the work for me. I'd take the whole coil assembly to them and they'd use a wall mounted spring compressor.

I was thinking about doing this method but was unsure about the cam bolts.

What type of spring compressor do you have?

I just used the ones you rent from O'reillys to swap springs on my coilovers. Super easy to use and they felt safe. Really helps if you have a impact to tighten them down, but a socket wrench works fine.
