    hey all,

just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for getting some springs swapped out (600lb springs swapped for 700lb) on my front king 2.5s. i just recieved a pair of 700s from accutune the other day so i contacted a local shop asking for a quote, and was a little shocked when they came back with around $450 for the swap + $150 for alignment for a total of somewhere in the $600 range. that’s a little ridiculous, right? i expected this to be a fairly simple and relatively cheap install. i normally do all my own installs, but i figured for something like this it would be cheaper and easier to just get it done. if $600 is the best i’ll find then i’ll just buy the damn spring compressor myself.

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

If your the DIY type go check out Gearhead Garage in Tigard. You can rent a lift for $35/hour with tools. Shoot Mike probably would let you use the spring compressor for free if you brought your shocks in by themselves already unbolted from your truck.
