In order to fund my AR-15 project I'm going to turn loose a handgun.
This is a Springfield 1911 GI Champion. It's about 2 years old and has had about 200 rounds through it. I am the original owner, and can show you the original receipt.

I paid $549 for this back in '09 ($599.95 after taxes)

I'm selling it for $500 and it comes with a few extras. Aside from the original packaging with manufacturers holster and mag holder I'm throwing in two additional 7rd mag's (3 total including the original) as well as a holster and a couple boxes of remington golden saber 230 gr JHP's.

Local sale preferred but I don't mind going through a FFL to ship it either.

EDIT: There are a couple of scratches on the end of the barrel from a shitty fobus holster i used for a little while, I tried to take pics of the scratches but they don't show up on in the pics

    Here's the pics

Its a great gun! I agree with you. I just really want to go forward on my AR project and selling a gun in the process helps keep my wife happy.
