Some magazine I picked up a while back (4wd Toyota Off-Road possibly???? IDK) had a review and they used one in a V8 4-runner. IIRC they ended up gaining around .75-.8 or so in a standing 1/4 mile. Basically, from what I gathered, it altered the signal to the fly-by-wire by a certain percentage to make the gains. I know Yamaha ECU's are pretty much choked by EPA standards off the showroom floors and a few companies reflash them to get around some of the restrictions...apples and oranges I know.

Mine seems a bit fluffy right off idle but not $300 worth of fluffiness. It might work though. They gave it a favorable review...but also had the ad for it on the following page so you always kinda take that into consideration.

I put something like this on my audi A4 turbo and it cut the delay 2/3's before you would mash the pedal to the floor and count 1,2,3 then the car would go like you just released the trans brake (for bracket racing holds 1st & rev at same time to get rpm's up) I saw this same thing where you just unplug your dbw plug on top of the pedal and plug this inbetween. Now when i mash pedal and within a second the car is moving. For the audi it was like 499 (dont tell wife)

Well....It seems that some had them, as there has been some TSB's and issues arising from them. Check out TTORA. I think thats where I found the info. Either there, or CT.
