A legal disclaimer to void OV tune from legal trouble vs the thousands of positive reviews on this site and you came to that conclusion. Words are hard to find..... Also, the OP Isn't asking if it is legal or not, he is asking which is better. OV tune fixed my cruise control on my drives to Florida, I have a 2017, so I am really glad I purchased it.

Again, no conclusions to be found, just stating the policy. I’m not advocating anything.

It’s a post about 2 purchase options. Seems like usage policy is relevant.

If you're saving/spending the money, save/spend a little more for the OV Tune. A Sprint Booster is already half way there and all it's features are only 1 of what OV has to offer. It's not even comparable. If products like the Sprint Booster were priced in the $125-150 range, one could argue about the value. But they're not, they're quite expensive actually at $300 bucks. OV is worth every penny. It's a product that's still developing and getting better, but you're getting so much more for the money for a product that's already pretty darn good.

OVTune is the best thing for these trucks period.

Had it for over a year now and it is amazing.

This is with lift, 265/70/17 tires and armor over 170 miles thru Idaho. I just run the base tune too

I had to sign a disclaimer that the tint in my Mustang was only going to be used off road. (In fact I've signed a few over the years)
Last time I bought fireworks I had to sign a disclaimer that they would only be used at a wedding.
It is what it is, 'Merica, 2019...

Dude, it's a disclaimer. You're also not "supposed" to run oversized tires, alter suspension, add any lighting, etc unless your truck is strictly for "off road use ONLY".

It's merely to protect himself from any legal liability.

    To the OP:

Comparing a Sprint booster to OVTune is like keeping your frozen meat in a Styrofoam cooler vs a deep freezer.

Isn’t that the point of concern... I usually ask “why such a protective measure” when I see these types of disclaimers. Why does the “company” need to protect itself in such a manner, i.e., from what liability?

OVtune blows anything else out of the water.

The disclaimer is just for legal purposes.

If it meant anything, you would have heard by now.
