My truck has a sputter, been doing it for about 3 years I think. First time it happened I was driving home from work, driving for about 10 minutes. When at like 40 mph or so I lose power, still in gear for about 10 seconds. I think CEL did come on. Engine started up again and didnt have any more problems for the rest of the drive about another 10 minutes. No problems the next morning going to work. But coming home did it again at about the same spot. Took it in that night, the crankshaft position sensor got replaced. Fixed the problem for a while. Now my truck does the same thing sporadically everytime I drive but only like a hiccup instead of slowing down. Since replacing the CPS, I have also replaced plugs and wires, fuel filter, fuel pump, ignitor, and ignition coils and had a fuel flush. None of these have resolve the problem. Out of ideas at this point.
