Spyder Headlight high beam upgrade

    D9514619-C820-4760-A7BC-2F8082EA5F83.jpg 632A1345-8D91-420E-9250-4742BD05B067.jpg I got these Spyder headlights for my 2009 Tacoma about 5 months ago and I really like them, these ones came with LED low beams (outside bulb) which I think are great but the halogen H1 high beam (inside bulb) is not so great. Can anyone on here help me out and let me know exactly what they did for a high beam upgrade? I’ve heard of retrofits but not super familiar.

    A quick search here will find you multiple posts with folks having the exact same problem. In short, Spyder headlights are pretty much junk and there's nothing you can do to the inferior optics to fix the problems with them. Sorry to be the bearer of sad - but true - news.

    I was confused by the thread title, nothing about Spyder's optics is an upgrade lol. Their build quality is so low they're really not worth upgrading, just get a better headlight that performs how you want.

    Put stock housings in, install upgraded harness, and bulbs. Enjoy life.
