This is what a 2017 TRD Pro Looks like when adding 1.25" Spyder Trax Spacers when running 2017 TRD Off-road wheels with 265/70r16 Blizzak Snow Tires. The 265/75r16 Dura-Tracs get mounted on the stock TRD Pro wheels in 2-days. I'll post a pic of what the Pro wheel offset does than. By the way. I've only driven about 20 miles with the spacers. I think it actually corners a bit nicer. Hate the fact that in the back of my mind spacers can come loose. We'll see if the nuts have budged when I mount the other wheelset monday night.

Prepare to get flamed. Folks are going to tell you you are going to die.

Make sure you don't use spacers for a small lift either. Holy hell the world will end.

I know, I know. I actually don't like the thought of spacers but...The off road wheel set was sitting so far in my wheel wells it was driving me crazy. Luckily I have a hoist and I can yank my wheels to check torque easily. If the Pro wheels with duratracs stick out too far I'll just use the spacers for the Snow tires. I do like the stance of how it looks with the spacers and snow tires. The bottom line is, Spydertrax doesn't just make spacers, they actually use them on rigs that go thru the elements. In theory if you do a good job installing them they should stay put. Not a fan of using red lock tite on wheel studs but you gotta do what ye gotta do.

I ran 1.5" spacers on my 2015 JK and I drove the crap outa that thing off road. Never had an issue. That jeep even had a scary rough country lift so many people here hate too.

Hub centric spacers and red loctite on the fastners and your GTG.

Ran 1" hub-centric spacers on my last 2 Jeep GC's over a number of years with exactly Zero problems.

Well, I went into a Jeep years ago after losing my 4-runner in a divorce (had 2 different pre-tacoma PU's prior to the 4-runner).
So, after my 3rd Jeep in a row went south at just over 100,000 miles I went back to a Tacoma

I'm just confused as to why you needed spacers to run that size tire in the first place?

I rolled my jeep last winter farting around one day we got 18" of snow. Decided that was a good time to get a truck.

Strictly because the edge of the tire was sitting 1.25" inside of the wheel well and I didn't like the way it looked. Yep. $200 later I now like the way the tires look on the truck. Pretty stupid I know. 200 bucks buys quite a bit of beer. But, The beer seems to taste better now when I look at my truck. It's the stupid simple things that make life better I guess. Actually, When my wife walks across the room in a set of X=amount dollar jeans, I'm either blown away or I don't notice at all. Seems like when she's wearing the Super ridiculous priced jeans...I'm pretty excited. Simply Crazy. I also just dropped some money on a new chainsaw, more than I wanted too. However, I pull the cord and it cuts all day long. Something to be said about spending some of that hard earned cash and actually being happy. (Please take this with a grain of salt. Been working on the yard all day drinking a beer or two...)

When you truck doesn't have the stance you want, it looks like a mini van.

You don't have to explain why you put the spacers on. The Tacomas look like trash from the factory with the mini van wheel tire combo that is tucked inside the wheel well.

It's a dude pointing at a piece of paper, basically saying "get to reading". It was in response to Unchained5150 who was asking why you got them, when you had already answered that in a previous post.

Here's the Spyder Trax 1.25" with Stock Pro Wheels and 265/75/16 Dura-Tracs. Yes, it rubs the front Mud Flaps when I pull in and out of driveways with the wheels turned. I swore I read a million posts saying you could run 265/75/16 on a Tacoma Pro with No issues (No Trimming). Well, Mine rub. Makes me REALLY glad I didn't order the 285's!
