So I recently purchased an 07 Tacoma(manual 4x2) used with 20000 miles. Just yesterday, i noticed that my clutch pedal squeaks as I release it before shifting.

I searched and I noticed some people had this problem during cold weather, but I live in Southern California and it was 75 and sunny. Is this something i can fix with WD-40 or should i take it to a mechanic for repair?

Alright. Are you sure about that? it seems like some grease on either that coiled spring or the rod thing might do the trick. Is it something else that is squeaking?
