    Hi Friends,

I just picked my truck up yesterday after having the clutch pedal TSB referenced in the title performed. I immediately noticed a light "click" coming from the very top of the pedal when it went down or came up. I turned around and they (SA and a tech) looked at it, felt around, told me it was the Neutral Safety Switch, no good way to adjust easily, but bring it back Thursday (tomorrow) and they'll see what they can do.

As soon as I got back in, I did not hear the click from the pedal/switch. I didn't hear it the whole way home and I still don't hear it.

Unfortunately, what I DO now hear is what I caught a video of this morning. This sound is new and is coming from the engine bay, it seems. I set my phone on the plastic engine bay cover and took this video (mostly for audio).

What do you suppose that is? I'm taking it back tomorrow as they were going to look at that click, but now I'm concerned more about this creak in the engine bay. I'm also thinking that they won't be able to dup cause after I drove around and let it heat up, it went away (that's why I caught a video) so I wanted to get your opinions.

    Thanks!

This is the identical squeak i'm getting from my 2020 taco in the front end or engine bay area. It happened after outside temps were in the teens. Its now warm today, s.o.b. no more squeak. At this time i have no idea what it can be, but rest assure i'll find where its coming from.

I'm assuming the noise is when you push the clutch pedal. the squeak is coming from the moving clutch fork, possibly the pivot points, I wouldn't worry about anything breaking and it may be temperature related, having said that, yes it shouldn't make noise like that.

Does it sound like it is coming from the right front? I have fixed several making a squeak in the front. The body mount at the core support isn't installed correctly going down the line. And it wears out the rubber pretty fast. Then you have the metal sleeve in the mount rubbing the body.

All i can tell its affected by the cold. The rougher the road the more squeaking. The noise sounds like its somewhere under the middle of the front end. Its annoying when your driving...its an obvious squeak that can be clearly heard in the cab.
