Finally solved the mystery squeak in my tacoma that seemed to come and go depending on the temperature.
I wouldn't of thought this, but discovered the cause, or at least where its originating from. I decided to readjust my articulating steering wheel. When pulling it upward, and in and out lo, and behold...it made the same squeak. Well after a few times moving the wheel around the squeak vanished. Drove the truck this morning in 20 degree temps...no more squeak. It would of done it for sure.

Glad you found it! Those can be hard to chase. I'm currently trying to figure out one from my driver's door. When I go over certain bumps it almost sounds like the window is shifting within the trim, but if I listen, it'll still do it with the window down. It doesn't seem to be affected by wind.

Only noises i ever got that were in my tundra's door hinge when they needed some lubrication, or, maybe you'll locate it by accident as i did.

I found the window track loose in one of my rear windows. Removed the door panel and tightened one nut. The nut was off the other. I found it in the bottom of the door and put it back on. Sometimes I wonder what else might have been not tightened enough.
