Almost sounds like a country song title.
Anyway I think I got rid of my leaf spring squeak/creak, I hope. I went ahead and ordered the plastic spring pads and just waiting for them to arrive. In the meantime the noise is just driving me crazy and making my truck sound like a old clunker, so I decide to unbolt my springs from the axle and loosen the center pin so that I can spray some brake cleaner between the leaves and take my long bristle wire bush and scrub between the leaves. A lot of dirt and rust came out and I kept doing it until the brake cleaner came out clear. I put everything back together and torqued it down and the noise is gone, silence is golden! Going to keep an ear out and pray the noise doesn't come back. I'll pop the new silencers in later on down the road as needed.
    Have a great Holiday weekend!

Still quiet, I asked a tech at work and a power washer works good for blasting dirt and crap out from between the leaves too.

Update: The squeak came back and seemed like it was worse than before, so I took the springs out and disassembled them leaf by leaf and took a wire wheel to each leaf and got all the accumulation of dirt and rust off and sprayed some paint on the bare areas, paint probably wont last long. I have the Wheelers Progressive add a leaf springs and I noticed that the edges of the spring where they are cut were digging into the leaf's, no spacers on the last two leaf's, and you could see the rust spots were it was rubbing and I am assuming that is were the squeaking is coming from. I took my Dremel tool and rounded off the edges that were digging into the leaf's and I am hoping that was the problem. I will see how it goes and will update.
    Wish me luck!
