hi all. 2012 dcsb. My clutch is squeaking and it’s coming from underneath and I’m assuming inside the transmission?

It’s not the pedal for sure. I’ve had the squeaky clutch TSB done and also replaced the master cylinder.

Any ideas? Probably taking it to dealership to get fixed.

Try to squirt a little lube on the pivot of the clutch fork where it goes into the bell housing. You might be able to pull the rubber boot back and get a little can of wd40 with a straw in there.

I haven't greased the clutch fork myself but I've seen that thread I posted above and thought it might be helpful, you should post in that thread if you haven't yet since it seems pretty active. A lot of members in there have successfully done it and can probably help you out

Tranny squeak that sounds like the clutch, if that makes any sense.

I have the 5 speed too and was told it's the same process as with the 6speed, but like I said I haven't tried it myself yet

No worries, it's not something I'm looking forward to having to do myself. Luckily my squeak comes and goes, it'll be present for a few days then be silent for a few weeks so I don't worry too much about it yet.

If you push in the clutch does the sound go away?

I think he's talking about a squeak/creak that comes from the clutch fork when you press the clutch, not the input or throwout bearing chirp.

I have the input bearing chirp and it's annoying as hell, but I've gotten pretty used to it
