    It's possible, but I don't think so if its just the foam around the tip of the duct. That is there mainly to prevent the heat/cool loss from any back pressure created when the vents fins are partially/fully closed. More likely to make some kind of air loss type noise.

    do you have pic of dash apart on the trucks with NO passenger airbag
    there is rattle coming in from the fresh air channel/lever (not sure what its called), foam pieces keep spewing out now and then
    i did have the dash apart at the salvage yard (all the way to the heater core) a month or so back but batteries dead and no further pics than odo/vin
