Hi there. I noticed a squeaking coming from the engine - sounds like possibly a belt? This only happens when I accelerate. Any ideas on what this could be? Sorry if this is super basic - I don’t have the greatest vehicular knowledge.

Same issue on my 2019 popped up yesterday and I still noticed it this morning. I made an appointment for Friday to take it in. I will let you know what they determine the problem is.

Just a couple other links that might be helpful: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/squealing-squeaking-annoying-serpentine-belt.711380/

Just a quick follow-up to my post. Dealer diagnosed this as the serpentine belt. The replacement fixed the squeak. TSB didn't cover mine since out of warranty. Easy fix if you have the time. I guess these belts will break down over time even without a lot of miles.

Probably belt, maybe a belt pulley bearing. Start with some belt dressing. Soak it down and see if it goes away. If not, pull the belt and spin the pulleys by hand. Anything not perfectly smooth to the feel is an issue.
